I have three pair of size 37 Mythos that I want to give away to three good homes. One pair is probably 1/4 of the way through it's life. It has the original sole which has lots of meat left. Let's call this Pair #1

Pair #2 has been resoled by Steve Komito, La Sportiva authorized resoler and is in good shape. I used this pair for training a bit so the area just back from the big toe is worn a bit but I'd say the soles have 3/4 of their life left. The uppers are in fine condition.

Pair #3's soles are actually in better than #2's but there is a tiny hole in the rand were the sole meets the rand just at the tip of the big toe. The uppers are in fine shape. This pair has been resoled by Komito also.

I want these shoes to go to three different people and all I'm asking is money for shipping, probably not more than six or seven bucks.

PM me, I can take credit cards though my business, Hood River Coffee Co.

PAIR ONE HAS BEEN GIVEN AWAY ALREADY! ONLY 2 PAIR LEFT!

PAIR TWO HAS BEEN GIVEN AWAY! ONLY 1 PAIR LEFT!

Mark, let me guess;

you are giving these shoes away because you (like many of us middle-agers) can no longer wear tight shoes and have to finally up your shoe size?

Spencer,

Exactly. I have old man feet now. Peggy has generously described them as "not quite human".

All those years of tight rock shoes didn't treat us very well, did they? And I thought only my pants were supposed to feel tighter as I got older!

I gave up on the pain a while back and you know... I don't think it really affected my footwork...you just adapt your style a bit.

Still training for the NIAD?

Thanks, I really hate to think that I had three perfectly good pair of climbing shoes sitting in a box, unused for the last three years. I'll never use them and it's wasteful to toss them out.

Dave, yes. I'm endurance training two days a week and then climbing on Fridays. Additionally, I'm planning on being in the Valley for two and a half weeks before the climb to get back into crack shape. It'll be great, I haven't spent any significant time there since 1979!.

In the midst of our mid-summer cleaning frenzy I uncovered several pairs of climbing shoes that I'm sure someone will enjoy (since my pain sensitive feet can't tolerate my old tighties).

I want to give away a nearly new pair of size 39 Mythos,

a somewhat used pair of Anasazi lace-ups (size 9 right, 8 left),

a relatively intact (other than a tiny mouse chew) pair of Fiveten Lynx (size 41 left, 40 right) and finally,

a somewhat functional pair of Fivetens (I forgot the name; the shoe is maroon, board lasted and probably five years old) 41 left, 40 right.

I'll send these shoes to the first person who emails me and commits to cover the approximately $10.00 shipping and I (like Mark) would like to get these shoes to different folks.

If you are interested, email me at iamaluddite@gmail.com.

Have fun and climb safely and painlessly......
