has any one heard of a rock i know as ''turkey plucker'' in mount bullion which is a couple miles out from Mariposa. i have heard that it is in guide books but i cant find any info on it. i would like to find out more about it, any info would be greatly appreicated.

I used to live in Mt. Bullion & never heard of it. Doesn't mean it's not there of course, but I've been all over that area & 99% of the rock is choss and/or shale.

PS: Careful trucking around out there as there are still lots of unmarked open mine shafts you could fall into!

just before you get to the top of the road where it forks.
