I'm pretty sure Tenzing and Hillary were quite happy. They even patted each other on the back. Probably not gay, though - they still had to get back down.

Trust me, I have known a handful who have summitetd Everest. Eric wouldn't (not that he was mind you) have been the first :)

it was a stellar day... stellar several days.
Wish there was a way to capture the the vibe of the crowds & share it.
Erik & his wife also have an adopted son (toddler) from Nepal I think... but he was prolly with friends/relatives in a *warm* place.
