hey there ol' jbar... say, i reckon you opened the ol' neebee book store, here, too...

(little did you know)...

well--this time, it is not a seizure awareness book, or a head injury book... this it is a:

childrens's progressive reader

say, YEP--- it HAS a hut in it!

seems that jan, and her "built from simple vowel word, friends" have one friend that lives in a HUT! (being that the word, house, was NOT introduced 'til later)...

and, not to leave out THIS little book:
say, YEP--- it HAS a hut in it, as well!

seems it is a PICTURE, this time, as this is an alphabet picture book for babes, one that tells the NAME of the alphabet letter, but clearly impresses the issue of what it SAYS, when in use, so as to keep the young brain clear from only naming the letters and never zeroing in on how they SOUND when saying them in "action"...

yep, i got huts... :)

so, if any of you all have young kids that are having trouble in reading, if you USE these books as a good foundation and you are diligent to do this everyday, i really do believe that you will see solid results, later:

"HELP ME!" "I WANT TO READ THIS!"

and

MY A-B-C for MOM, DAD, AND ME!

*ps, jbar and all

the HUT is realyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cute... kind of like a little western one room mini store-front...

say, as an extra perk(?), i even through-in a "zoril"...
well, god bless, all, and good night!

Hmmmm, seems I'm a hut troll now. So far we gotta camel ride and a book store out of it.
The Fang in the background is important for location. I almost stayed in this hut once. Well almost this hut anyway since this hut is realy just almost. Decided to go another route.

Tami whats up with your webpage?

hey there jbar... say, thanks... say, go check out the recent:
"How do YOUdefine a good troll ?????????" thread,
and you will see the comedian at work...

say---awwwwwwww, shucks... the rain...

well, just remember, things will be fresh and clean then, and the air will be nice after, when you DO get to to climb...

(is it best to wait 'til everything is really dry, first though, or not neccessarily)... ?

well, i got to turn-in soon...
god bless, to you jbar... may good climbing come soon...

*say, all in kind fun, of course, but--you can always CLIMB up on a camel and read a good book, until then, at ye' old book store)...

Neebee this pic will be WAY easy for anyone who has been in this area before. The peak in the background and the huts position give it away. I think it's really awesome because there once was a hut I used to stay in where the people would fight for the back because the drafts were so bad but I visited the hut a few years back and they had totally rebuilt it. Snow melt from the roof would collect in water bins, there was a hut radio, tables to eat on , gas stoves, even solar powered lights on timers. Thats kinda what they are doing here but more on a european standard. Total modernization though.
So, who made it and owns it would be an alpine club
Who can visit? Anyone.
How did I find it? Thinking about where I'm going to use my vacation this year.

hey there jbar... say, i was just closing down shop for the night.... (haha, just expression-wise, NOT the book-selling, mind you)...

NOW: wow, sound like a great vacation time for you, if that is your choice, then, seeing as you know about the ways-and-means ahead of time, and can plan for it...

say, thanks for the all the answers, it was very nice!...

it sure makes a pretty picture, and i liked the history notes from the past, too, very much! ...

hey there jbar... oh MY!... just one more thing, before i get off line, here...

that peak, in the bacground... say, is that the matterhorn, ???

*i must have had hut-itis, as that is all i focused on...

SAY:

i always see it (the matterhorn) with the "life from zermot" for the sunrise and sunset, but i see it from other angle and all alone...

say--- hmmm.... now i am wondering... will have to check it all out tomorrow, though...

The peak in the background looks a lot like the Matterhorn, aka the Assiniboine of the Alps.

Love the way that solar roof melts out the front yard.

I'm thinking that other fang back and to the right might be the Grand Jorasses?

Been away for the day. Social Climber got it by google and goatboy got it from recognition. I shoulda offered a prize but I thought it would be too easy. Soooo is it finished? I didn't know they had finished building it.

Tami that is the Matterhorn. You should do something with your page. I'm sure you could think of something creative. At least include a section with some of your art and maybe books. I found your site because I was looking for a book.

Here is the old Hut. Kinda historic now I guess.

If I'd got here sooner, coulda guessed without googling (I'll claim), because the background
with Matterhorn, Dent Blanche and Obergabelhorn looks so distinctive.

But I'd never have recognized the hut alone. See, I visited the Monte Rosa hut once back
in 1968, and thought it pretty enough -- an archetype for Swiss mountains huts -- to
take a few photos.

A view of the interior (prolly looks different now):

Mte. Rosa itself, at 15-something the second-highest peak in the Alps:

And a view from the hut towards Matterhorn and Dent Blanche, both high 14ers (I mean, viertausender):
