just as I was formulating this post, I got a Christmas dinner invite from Doug N. See, it's a real Christmas blizzard today and I was just going to hunker down and enjoy it, looking for a window to go out for a tour. But Doug lives 2 minutes from me, so yippie! I might even ski over there.
(I love small towns.)
Went to a party in Mono City last night. The fire dept cruised the neighborhood in their antique fire truck decked out for a solo Christmas parade. Santa (short skinny guy named Santiago)handed out presents and treats to the kids, and they got goodies in return. Our community baby was in attendance, which made it all the more fun for the adults. What a lucky kid, he is growing up in a real community.
Merry Christmas to the tribe, and all I want for Christmas is PEACE.
