One minute ago Our house
started shaking. I wonder where the epicenter was?
It felt pretty strong.

Thanks, Knott.
Ludlow is about 67 miles as the crow flies from my house.
No wonder it felt so strong.

About 30 seconds before I felt it,
all 30 parrots of mine started squawking, flapping their wings and falling off their perches. We were puzzled by what was wrong till we felt the house shake like crazy.

Hey Scully;
I posted less then a minute after the quake.
So mine is just as valid as the other 2 posts.
In fact, all 3 of us were probably posting at the same time.
EXCUSE ME if I don't have 2 computers so I can read the posts that come in, and post at the same time.

hey there dwain... say, i like your earthquake notice... it has REAL parrots in it... but:

:( .... oh, my... i am sorry that they got so scared... well, lets hope that this earhtquake is not the forerunner of another....

hope you all remain well, and will pray so, too...

say, wonder if parrots in the wild would get so scared, or, would they feel the oddness, and simply just fly off to another spot--- i had never thought on that before... i just thought on dogs or cats, or horses, etc, getting scared, as they were "ground" critters....

thanks for letting us know, dwain... hope the parrots can relax back to settling down to enjoy their home, too, as well as you, too...

god bless...

Hey Neebee;
Thanks.
Yeah they got stirred up a bit.
I guess parrots are as SENSITIVE
to earthquakes as dogs and cats are.
Calif has seismometers, and I have Seismomiparrots
