Is it too cold to climb at Lover's Leap these days?

These days it just depends on the weather. Last weekend was great. The sun didn't hit East/Main Wall until 2 or 3 pm but even in the shade it was comfortable (YMMV).

But by next weekend...snowshoes for the approach...?

If you're in the area anyway then Sugarloaf is another option. It's lower elevation, and you can move around for sun or shade.
