Ah! The tough one is still to be identified. Yes, that is Robbins, Steck and Bridwell. That other guy has done some studly stuff. He linked a 24-hour alpine triad that makes the NIAD look like child's play.
he-he... triad-NIAD...

I bet the guy on the right is one of those Chamonix 80's-colors lycra-wearin' Frenchies who did one of those big link-ups and later bit it parasailing from the summit of some alpine face.
Am I close?

Well, apogee...
He is a Frenchie, Chamonix is one of his haunts, he undoubtedly did wore lycra (didn't many of us back then?), he did more than one big link-up BUT unless he died in the past nine months... he is still alive and climbing at a nice standard.

Yay! Some part of my brain still retains functioning memory!
Yep, I've still got a few pairs of lycra around...my favorite is my purple-leopard skin pair. (No kidding.)
Umm, I'm gonna guess that his name is Jean-Paul-something-or-other.

I'd say Christophe Profit.
I spent the winter of '85-86 in Chamonix and very clearly remember running into Profit and Jean-Marc Boivin. I didn't recognize them at the time, but both these guys and another well known climber (can't remember who at the moment) absolutely glowed. I don't know if it was just that they were so fit or what, but they stood out unlike any other people I've seen.

Good call kunlun_shan!
It is Christophe Profit who, among other things recently finished guiding his tenth client up the Eiger. Yes, he also did, like, the first ascent of the NE Ridge on K2 and a few other minor top ropes.
Here he is in more modern times:
