I know that I am not saying anything new, especially to those of you who have raised children - or pets - but it is simply amazing (okay, overstatement) how one can suggest something and see it 'followed' up.

As typical for a cat, fussy eaters and all, sometimes Boots looks like he is hungry and sits by his bowl. So if I give him some food, he (sometimes) sorts of looks at it and wonder what us humans are eating that is better (actually he knows, as we do give him 'table treats'). He then may walk away without touching the food.

But without fail, if I open one of the Whiskas pouches and pretend that I am eating from it, and then put some in a bowl, he scarfs it down.

Cats, like dogs and other animals (including kids), are funny sometimes.

I will post up a pic of him (Boots) in a couple of days when I learn how to post pix. Also pix of the limestone walls at Paklenica National Park in Croatia, some Dalkey Quarry pix and some pix of the rock at Doolin and Ailladie in Co Clare (west Ireland), plus a couple of climbing pix of the 1970s/80s.
