I just watched a Pizza Hut commercial that had people going to a French Restaurant and getting what they were supposed to think was a French desert. The footage shows a girl stripping off her white 'restaurant' out fit and saying that the "pastires" were from 'pizza hut'.

My first reaction was 'what a bunch of dumb@$$#;'s. My second was that even IF those 'pastries' tasted anything like a good French desert, what are they made of. I'm sure some kind of pre-packaged-franchise(bull$#!T ingerdients). Sometimes I wonder if this economic hellhole we are in will do us some gud. Discuss.

OOOOPS I forgot the punchline

Check the ingredients.

Thanks Locker.

" I'm sure some kind of pre-packaged-franchise(bull$#!T ingerdients)."

Probably. But you have to remember that the majority of this country has been raised on fast food. And their "home cooked meals" are just prepackaged bullshit from WalMart.

So anything that is fresh from a restaurant oven is going to taste fancy. They know their target audience, and they know what their audience likes.

Speaking of those commercials, Carls Jr. has a similar one where they serve their burgers in a fancy restaurant, and then tell them it's fast food.
That one is plausible though, because that guacamole bacon burger is damn good!

The funniest part of that commercial is where the girl say's."Oh, and I'm not French".

I've heard better French accents on the Navajo Nation!
