I haven't determined why this is on page 2 and all that horrendous political sh#t is still on page 1.

The longest sport pitch I have ever done. Good thing I had a 70m rope.

Tork,
Rope is one thing, but what about the number of draws required? Is this left of Sahib, or does it cross that old line?

Hey Nate,

A lot more draws than I had.

Sahib has been walked all over by at least three routes. This route, put up by Grahm, is an independent line to the right of the farthest route on the right that crosses Sahib(if that makes sense).Plus, all the holds are natural-I think.

Not sure what you mean by that old line. Isn't Sahib the oldest on that side of the dome.

Mungy,

You have no idea, the granite on this side of the dome is about the best I have ever climbed. The friction is incredible and the knobs are plentiful.

By that old line, I meant Sahib. A real shame the new sport routes mow right over it. :( Clint had suggested as much, after rebolting Elegance.
Incredible rock, though. There was also a very runout direct line to the right of Sahib, that supposedly linked up with the first belay anchor. I've never climbed anything over there though, but aspired to climb Sahib someday. Now I'll never know where it goes.

Mungy, You climbed that rock a few years back....'cept we were on the slabbilicious side of the dome. It was with the SSCA folks when they did a rebolting project.
Come back and visit, we'll show you around.

No way! that was that face? It looked freakishly steep from where we were chilling. That looks steep but do-able.

No doubt. I'm really starting to appreciate the SoYo more.

I'm thinking Obelisk next season.
