Bad weather brewing on the hike into the BCS area...
Dusting of snow on BCS...
After the storm and fall colors on the Eastside...
Anybody know the story on this?

hey there flashlight... say, i tried to do a search about the MEMORIAL there....
sure did not do it well---as---nothing...
was there no ranger stations, etc, nearabouts that would have any info of that memorial?
very interesing, it was....

Liz, re: the memorial...I don't know if someone died in a crash on the road near the memorial or if he died in the mountains. I did a search also and couldn't find anything. Nice memorial though.
Guido, my favorite month also. I heard the oranges and reds really caught fire the day after I left. It is really hit and miss. Last year when I went, there was nothing, a wind storm and stripped all the trees a couple days before I got there. Evereyone told me, "You should have been here last weekend."
