Catching a bus closest city to the Valley?

So if you were catching a bus from Seattle what city would you try to get to?

This is the only bus that I know of into the valley. So merced looks like your best bet, though if you plan to hitchhike, then I would go to mariposa.

Consider catching the train to merced. Amtrak. I like it better then the bus. Then catch yarts to the valley.
