Sorry for another political thread, but I think this is the first one I have started.

I tried a few scenarios at this tool which calculates your taxes under OB and McPain:

Low income people pay less taxes under MickyP! than OB.
Middle income people (probably must of us here) pay more tax under McCain than Obama, or get this BUSH!

A tax increase on the middle class under McCain! To give the poor and the rich (above $250,000 a year) lower taxes!

What happened to the Republican party?

So no one is willing to defend McCain huh? Jeff?

Is it just common knowledge that all the talk of lower taxes with Rebublicans is just BS nowadays? I thought that was the main appeal of Republicans.

Fatty doesn't respond to individual points. He only cut and pastes the "Obama = socialism, McCain = trickle down your gramma will starvism" from months ago. I think his subscription to "Republican Hack Weekly" lapsed or something.


In the meantime, turns out that the vast majority of Americans believe it is the govt's duty to ensure healthcare and think that it takes priority over tax cuts.
