(To the tune of Gilligan's Island)

Just RAP on down and I'll tell a tale
a tale of a frightfull trip.
That started at the ELDO gate
aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man.
The Skipper brave I'm sure.
They paddled out the canyon that day
for a three mile tour
a three mile tour.

The river started getting rough.
The paddles soon were lost.
In spite of the brain cell
shared between the crew
the Flounder would be tossed.
The Flounder would be chossed.

The ship set ground upon the shore
of a neighbors back yard deck...

Not long ago, last Spring to be exact, two hard core adventure freaks, Friends of mine who shall remain nameless and infamous, decided, out of shear boredom, to canoe the dangerously swollen creek flowing out of Eldorado Canyon. Piece of cake compared to the heinousness of most of their activities. So they borrowed gear and just went for it. That is when their (un)plan went awry.

More to come.
