Any body knows where I can find a topo (or a photocopy) for the California needles?

I found a book last season that is out of print.
Search for "southern sierra rock climbing Needles" by Moser, Vernon and Paul Copy right 1992. Good luck

There's supposed to be a new one coming soon, but no release date is given, here's the publishers website...
Raven book press

Trivia question, what route is that on the cover of the old book?
Hint: The photo is upside down...

Ding, Dong? It's Ankles Away, but not Peg Leg. Dont forget it's upside down and reversed left to right...and Pegleg is a corner. The feature on the left in this photo - right in reality - is unclimbed. Ron Carson told me he tried to tr it, but it peters out to nothing and ends..

How are Waling Banshees and Don Jaun? How do they compare in difficulty to Atlantis or Ice Pirates? Stoaked to get back there this summer.

Don Juan is great. I think it's harder (certainly more physical) than Ice Pirates and, for me anyway, easier than Atlantis. Ihaven't got around to Wailing Banshees yet, mostly because to me it doesn't look as good as some others. Just an opinion though.
