Driving down from Suicide rock yesterday ,I listened to Pink Floyd "The Wall" cassette in my tape deck, and wish that The Floyd would get together and tour. Well I get a call this morning from my younger brother telling me about the passing of Wright over the weekend. Well so much for my wish of the Floyd's return. I am thankful that I got to see Pink Floyd in 1987 and 1994. Thank you for all the great songs Richard Wright. "Great gig in the Sky"

The world is a darker place today and my dream will not be fulfilled.
Saw 3-man at the Knebworth '90 show in England and saw Roger 20 or so days later at the Berlin wall. From that point onward I'd dream of the time when the fearless 4 would get over their differences, like allot of their lyrics speak of, and at least perform once more together....... not to be.

How many times did I fall to sleep while listening to Echos at the end of the night?
Always awakling to the scratch....scratch..scrratch....of the record still spinning, that guy spaced me out for many years, thank you, Mr. Wright.

pink floyd is my top 5 bands of all time. My very first FA, in Jtree- us and them- 1982.
the pompeii Dvd is worth the price. it comes with cuts of making dark side of the moon. best album of all time..
music of that era and of my generation has fueled me and so many of my adventures. hence the reason i use a lot of them for fa names..
rip..

How appropriate that he should pass on a full moon. There is no Dark Side of the Moon really.....
Hope you find The Great Gig in the Sky better than your wildest dreams!

So long and thanks for the tunes! The work will live on.
Kid- Live at Pompeii is obviously incredible. The DVD version that has the dark side making of stuff comes from a whole other DVD on the making of Dark Side. I got it on netflix. It wasn't as good as pompeii, but they tell you what they were thinking on a few of those Dark side songs.
Hail Animals!- the best album ever made.
