I've been watching this, but is this really all that important? So she bailed, so she flung some mud. What of it?

I find it disturbing that this site has become a religious/political/f*#k you forum rather than climbing. Does anyone here actually climb (ever, once in a while, anymore)?

Just asking.

Yes, we even fight over ..."why aren't you climbing with me any sooner than you are"....See last nights trash talk thread.

CAUSE THIS IS a CLIMBING FORUM.

So why aren't you reading the latest Book Club Climbing Book, Bro ? It's Conquistadors of the Useless by Lionel Terray.

Lynne; Planet Granite San Francisco. steep and thin, good locks once you learn to recognize them on the stucco. Easier know that there is more chalk... Feet are very difficult, (should have worn testarosa's, though the OW lower would have, in that case, hobbled me for life...) Anyone who onsighted it got to be in a raffle for a #6 friend. Wonder if anyone made the raffle. Cool climbing in any case. I will still have the gobys by face lift time, I suspect... since I will know doubt tear them open@ BIW, this week; Homo sap is the "learning animal"?

GEEZ Lynne, get the story straight.
I wasn't pissed because of climbing sooner.
I am pissed because you didn't CALL when you said you would.
It is the 3rd time it's happened.
I am apprehensive about picking a date to climb with you because of your track record of saying you will CALL me back
and then you don't.
I don't want to make a date to climb, and then get to the climbing area, and YOU DON'T SHOW UP!!!!

Don't worry, I won't be calling anymore to invite you to go climbing. Especially, after all I got from you was an excuse,
and not even a, I'M SORRY.

"So why aren't you reading the latest Book Club Climbing Book, Bro ? It's Conquistadors of the Useless by Lionel Terray. "

I read most of the classics by the time I was 15, at this point in my life, I would rather be outdoors. Since lugging books out to the crag is not my idea of fun. I'd rather educate myself by interpreting the theological signifigance of what's written on the back of a beer can.

I will admit to the hippy lettuce, but the rest is not TRUE!!
AS for the low down, and flakey:
I am a honest, and mostly friendly person.
As for flaky,not usually.
I know one thing, that as a business owner, if I tell a customer that I am going to call them back the next evening
to put them into the schedule, and I DON'T, and I do that to them MORE than one time, I am NOT going to have them
for a customer very long.

A Poser, wanna be ? NOT !

I decided to get into climbing in April after I went to the Josh Reunion. I started to work out, I lost 20 pounds, I found a rock climbing gym and started going. I went to the people's wall in La Jolla and did traversing to learn....Had no close ones to help me. Had offers from really great climbers but I was just to darn embarrassed to take them up on their very nice offers cause I hadn't climbed in years and basically sucked.

I recently went to Suicide Rock this summer @ July and climbed Surprise,5.8 three pitch....Skigliak 5.10 face and The Shadow, 5.8 BIG Thanks to T. Gordon and Company...

Went to Tuloumne Meadows in August and was the first one of our party to do Touch of Grey 5.9 on Western Front near Daff Dome. Did it easily with no beta. The kids were cheerin me on and it was FUN. Also did March of Dimes 5.10a. came off slightly, but went right back on the rock...did not hang dog and finished it well.

Got about 3/4 of the way up 5.10b New Tricks for Old Dogs but just not mentally up for the end. Think I could do it now.

Yo, an old friend from J. Tree happened to be there if you need a witness, Mr. Bob Bolton a very nice cool dude. Could be a role model for some.....

So not bad for 5 months... no wanna be, I am makin it happen.

If I didn't have to work full time I could be crankin. Smiles, Lynne
