hey there say, all...*this is old post---so
for 2008 christmas and 2009 new year, please see new thread:
hey there all... not trying to detract from bobby's post/thread (we can let this one here die-out after the new year wish and folks can STILL post wishes for him,at the original)---but:
since he has been laid up so long and is now at CRAIG REHAP HOSPITAL and ready to really press on for the new year:
i thought it might be a special SURPRISE if some of us here that dont know him as well as his family, join in for a very special new year wish FROM ALL OF US....
as all climbers seek to reach the "top" lets wish this for him...
i just cant forget how faith must have felt that day, being with her brother when he was hurt so bad, before---as--i have five brothers, too and felt her pain....
HAPPY NEW YEAR BOBBY MODEL!!!
AND MAY THIS YEAR BE MORE THAN SWELL!!!
MAY THE SUN SHINE THROUGH THE HAZE...
AND MAY THE ROUGH SPOTS OF LIFE, NOT FAZE...
MAY FRIENDS AND FAMILY SHARE A TOAST OF JOY!!!
FOR THEIR MUCH BELOVED, PAL, AND BOY!!!
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE, AND DAY...

hey there... just a bump...
it is now past midnight now, bobby and family---the outdoor air is crisp and clean, ... snow is laid out round and about... hope you all feel the new year and the winter presence keeping you all inspired for the excitement of adventure---the adventure of a new year.... with spring unfolding surpirses after you've got a good winter fully-used-up...
after new years day----its back to the regular post!
this was just like a CARD to "usher the new year in"
god bless and good night--our neighbors and me were all praying for you just before the new year arrived!... cheers and salut..

hey there... thank you, kind sir for the new year wishes!
well, bobby, card-time is over now...
and new years day, done, oh wow...
sure hope you had the BEST day of the year...
right here-and-now, among the celebrating-cheer...
course, if you had the BEST today...
then, i NOW must wish you EVEN BETTER in-many a-way!...
there is so much to see-and-do...
beyond the hospital, in the great outdoor-blue...
its all there for you-and-yours...
wow--sure hope you won't be a-getting-bored...
work hard, young man, and reach for the gold...
say, with all those hands among you, to help and uphold...
it will come, dear sir, and you will see...
out of the bad, great good can STILL come to thee...
