Hi all,

I'm in Susanville, CA for the week on assignment for work. I've been looking over my shoulder EVERY day at the northeast face of Thompson peak, which is really impressive. Does anyone have any beta? FA's/History/etc? Has anyone ever even noticed this thing?

Right now it looks just about like this old photo. The rock is shite (and stratified flood basalts, not sediments, I assume). I did a brief reconaissance and I think I'll have a go at the center of the face in the next day or so. Let me know what you come up with.....

Michael
