Lynne! I have not been real covert about my real world identiy on ST, but as long as I was employed & pissing conservatives off here, it made sense not to flaunt it.

It's kind of strange we haven't met, since Donini is a close friend & pointed you & Dave Y. out at a Outdoor Retailer Show a few years back. You folks were involved in a conversation & Jim did not want to interupt you to introduce me.

Then, I incurred your wrath for a Anti-Christian post, which was likely a bad day for both of us, but I am a Pagan.

Anyway, best wishes for our meeting as friends in the future.

For quite awhile, I kept a small spreadsheet with forum handles and actual names,
because I couldn't remember them all.
And I liked to use them sometimes in replies.
Often people only gave a first name, and sometimes I inferred gender.
Later I added a column with "deceased" when a few people passed away.
In recent years with fewer climbing posts by fewer people, I didn't edit it much.

I still have it, but the plan was always never to post its info or give it to anyone.
If people want to conceal their real name (most of the time), that's fine.
Sometimes when offering condolences after a tragedy, people would include their real name.
But many never gave it out.

Yes, Clint, I thought about keeping a list because eventually the clues would add up. But, you know, I too felt if they didn't want to be known, well OK. It's just now I would like to know but it's not necessary. Life flows and grows and its all gonna be good.
