City of Rocks Idaho reports 6" of new snow overnight on Friday May 17. More is expected this week.
This is not rare, but it appears the west is in for a wet week & maybe a wet cycle?

Bring your snow-camping gear for The Elephant's Perch in Idaho's Sawtooth Range. Redfish Lake is now thawed, but I'm not sure if the shuttle boat is running before Memorial Day weekend.
