Rather than printing the page to a PDF file you can save the webpage in its entirety, including all the pictures as separate files.

Go to the trip report, right click on the page and select "Save as" then select the "Webpage complete" option

Save this to a folder on your computer. A folder with the TR name will be created along with an HTML file with the TR name. Double click the HTML file and the TR will open in your browser without being on the internet

All the pictures will be in the folder.

Thats what I did, though sometimes loading the offline copy has a trouble with certain special characters (eg. apostraphes).

Any speculation on how long we have?

There are also a few website archiving services that create a "forever" version of a site for free.
pagefreezer.com
versionista.com

And there are others.

I'll miss this place

Thanks for the help, Jon Beck, and Jaybro for the bump that brought it to my attention. It worked well and swiftly except I used the control button instead of right-click.
