Hello everyone, looking to buy a Rock Exotica/Wren Silent Partner. Anybody out there willing to sell?

Note: constantly checking Ebay, but have had some bad luck. Just missed out on one due to a last minute bid. I actually won another, and paid, but the seller cancelled. Fortunately I paid through PayPal and was able to get a quick refund.

Additionally, I realize this is a hot topic. I’ve tried other options and believe I will enjoy this method the most.

Great device for rope solo free climbing.

Waste of money for rope solo aid climbing, where you are moving slowly, and a regular unmodified GriGri will do the trick just fine for a fraction of the cost and weight.

Go to Facebook and ask on Yann Camus' rope solo climbing forum. That's where all the Silent Partner aficionados hang out. Some of them might even climb, too!

That forum is a mixed bag of fun....one day someone is asking about buying a SP, next someone stoked out solo climbing, next the endless revo is the best / YGD debate, and last but not least the WAYYYY over thought solo setup with 5 million unnecessary things going on in it. That last one is my favorite :)
