I miss that place. Whenever I'd spend a couple of weeks in Pasadena, I'd bring my gear to head up there. What a cool setting above the smog line, and decently steep and decently long routes.

I climbed there a lot after Troy Mayr opened it up to sport climbing it became the best local summer crag around Los Angeles.
I even climbed with Bob Kamps there too, cool!

After work 3:30 Tuesday and Thursday's mostly with "E" we would jam up there (or Horse Flats) and do laps on the London Wall etc. hike out at dark and go eat at the Mexican restaurant across from Sports Chalet where we left one of our trucks to drive up together, both gone now, throughout the summer and go to other places on the weekends and back again if we didn't, good times!
