Jeffery Brent Firkins, former climbing gym employee and local guide is currently wanted by the authorities for the sexual assault of a juvenile. If you see him, please let the authorities know. It is believed that he ran away with his climbing and camping gear and to be hitchhiking and heading into the mountains

So, this guy ditched his car (didn’t have one?); in order to flee via hitchhiking?

If you know where he liked to ‘guide’ or hang, he may be easy to locate.
