you guys ever look into Wej-It for weddgiess they apparently more vertical pressure, therefore it doesn't put out pressure in horizontal regions to help stop against cracking.

they invented the design and was meant for installs next to glass and more fragile places. kinda interesting.

if anyones had luck with the let me know, if not gonna probably go with these

I have used the Simpson Strong Tie Wedge All 3/8" x 2.25" Stainless 304 and 316 quite a bit in good granite - they are quite good.
On the page you linked, I only see the carbon steel versions (you don't want those - they will get rusty fairly quickly).
