Mini report from Patagonia. Caught an 8 pound rainbow yesterday...fed six with leftovers. The peak in the upper left corner is an FA I did around ten years ago. Hope everyone is enjoying winter!
The peak served up 6,000 vertical from the lake and some 5.8 climbing on the final tower. Only down here can you find unclimbed moderate peaks near the road.

You actually have to walk twenty minutes down to the lake. Here is my fish/climb combo from last year an 18 pound chinnok and a more remote, bit harder unclimbed peak near the ice cap.

Mud mounds and ugly virgins (summits) is kinda more my shtick these days and I definitely do not catch fish like THAT, but I definitely smell what you're stepping in there, capitán.

Stout fish work old lad.

Stout peak work too!

Post more. Your adventures are much more fun than my Idaho life at the moment.
