Come on guys (gals?), is there anyone who can come to Lynn Hill's house and help me feed a rather large Ball Python??? It's a bit time sensitive, but I have even tried trolling Pearl St. for someone who isn't terrified of snakes and have not had luck.
Please - call me if you live in area and are available this afternoon (tomorrow latest)......

So a python slithers onto a plane, carrying two dead crows. The flight attendant says "I'm sorry sir, but only one carrion per customer".

So, being a snake lover I gotta say, and I am unanimous in this, that pythons are easily capable of going months without sustenance, let alone a few extra days or weeks. Besides, if you shine it on you really don’t think you’re gonna get ratted out, do you?

lmao - big help you lot are! ;)
To answer, yes indeed I am also "caretaking" the food (lovely little white mouse) - and am less concerned about feeding said snake than I am about the mouse dying in meantime! It's all quite amusing, if one were observing without having to participate lol...

You'd scream like crazy, too, if you were starving for a big pile of carrots and someone dropped mice into your cage.

My daughter used to babysit the class snakes during summers when she was in elementary school. Dead mice in the fridge or freezer; had to be heated up before feeding but not in the microwave if I recall.
Hard to believe you can't find someone who's not afraid of snakes! Throw up an ad on Craigslist and see what whackadoos come out of the woodwork. I guess this here thread is only one step removed from that ;)
Just meet in a public place to interview them first! Don't let them know where you live if you get bad vibes.

LOL thanks all.... And yes, I too have heard the frozen route is the way to go (pun for Dad). However, 'tis not my snake (nor mouse)... so am doing as instructed. Or trying to do.
Tim from here contacted me and came by, making a valiant effort to get said feeding finished with. The predator, however, was not at all interested in much beyond escaping the feeding box.
While remaining aware of the important distinction of "woes," and that mine are certainly "first world," nonetheless I am sighing at this particular situation (while also chuckling).
Tim, you showed up! Much gratitude, and I'll see you in a few days 😂
