Has anyone replaced a ferrule on the BD X4's with metal wires for the trigger cables? One of the ferrules/cable stops popped off one one my 0.1's recently. The trigger wires measure just under 1mm in diameter according to my measurement.

BD quotes 15 for trigger wire fix plus the cost of shipping. The local hardware stores I've been to don't carry crimps this small. Looks like there is an option to buy bulk for 6 dollars: https://www.amazon.com/BQLZR-Aluminum-Ferrule-Sleeves-Clamp/dp/B00NL49SW8

Anyone have any experience with this?
