Really? Bad pun. Bad art.

Random Midnight Lightning bolt thrown in - why?

You couldn't pay me to wear this shirt.

Edit: The pack video was good!

I got the email from the AAC with that shirt promo and thought it was super weird. First, it's just plain ugly. And I don't understand what the old star wars guy has to do with climbing? Using the force?? Second, it just struck me as odd that anyone would want such a shirt. Like everyone else I'm in awe of the El Cap solo but I have no connection with it or Honnold like I might with other t-shirts I might wear. Plus it just seems like a weird thing to commercialize, but I guess that train has already left the station without asking my opinion!

The old guy is Robbins, wielding a hammer is ironic

agreed, weird shirt, and questionable use of trademarked property

There’s just something very peculiar about it.
I don’t have a problem with commemorative T shirts but this is just strange. Very.
Two icons of the climbing world (3 if you include the Bachar reference) put into a totally alien (no pun intended) context.
I may be getting way too old to appreciate this graphic.

So who is the old Jedi next to Honn Solo?

Qui-Gon Robbins?

Obi-Wan-Donini?

Also, it looks like Honn Solo has his left hand in the old Jedi's robe...

Aaaaaaaaa! Thanks for that - NOT.

Is Honnold gesturing he is #1 with the right? Seems out of character?

What a mess...

I think Robbins would have preferred to be remembered for climbing nuts, not pitons.

^^^ Now I regret clicking on this thread...

I can’t unsee Honnold feeling up Royal.

Me neither; it looks like Royal is going to hit him with the hammer if he doesn't remove his hand...

I agree with others, ugly and not representative of anything I know about those 2 and their achievements/endeavors.

You still aren’t required to buy something you don’t want even if the same doesn’t apply to leaders you don’t want.

Seems wrong:
Alex normally has no shirt, a short sleeve shirt, or the hoodie
Royal is a lot shorter, and would rack more than one pin per biner...

At Art of Climbing in Chatsworth, we had a T-Shirt guy present some shirts he was trying to sell.
One had the Hard Rock Cafe graphic perfectly stolen, with" Hard Rock Climbing" in its place.

At the end of his presentation he was very confident we would buy, but i told him, that shirt is a rip off and we are not going to buy. He passed it off as nothing and attempted to start an order for other shirts.. I said "No, you do not understand, we are not buying any shirts from you, there are too many T-Shirts, and too many great artists out there who are not stealing someone else's work."

as for the film? Yawn Solo.
