One my favorite climber artists, Jeremy Collins, is expanding Meridian Line. Here is a link to the Kickstarter campaign. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/meridianline/meridian-line-denim?ref=user_menu

I got to climb the Hulk Last winter with Jeremy and was psyched to see hear about how he is combining his passion for art/drawing with other mediums. And this is convenient for me because I've replaced most of my traditional climbing and biking pants with stretch denim by Prana and Patagonia... psyched to see how this stack up.

My daughter calls these jeggings. If they can be heavy duty like jeans used to be, and still stretchy, I think they are on to something.

I'm pissed. What's old is new again. My wall pants in the era of white painter's bellbottoms, circa 1975, were the original stretch Levis that I wore on the Nose the week after the first one-day ascent.
I could roll up the cuffs to a full knickers effect or not, but while they did not have all denim durability they were far easier to high-step in.
Now, I'm sure that the only difference from the modern ones is like $10 versus $125, and the new ones will probably have that clever crotch seamless gusset stolen from martial arts pants a dozen years back.
It's all fashion, and we know what Bowie thought about that danger.

Where can I get some Chuck Norris jeans?

Edit to add. Chuck doesn't read books. He stares them down till they give him the information he wants. And his tears cure cancer. Too bad he's never cried.
