These guys spent two weeks taking 70000 photos to put together an ultra, ultra hi resolution panorama of the Mt. Blanc massif. 365 gigapixels.
Pretty impressive. Zoom in on the hut/telepherique construction in the far background. You can just about make out faces on the workers, from what appears to me to be miles away.

More stuff:

Climber 3/4 up the Tour ronde.

Party 2/3 along the Cosmiques arête.

People practicing crevasse rescue below the Aiguille de Midi.

Gondola cars below the people at the Midi station exit, with shadows on the snow below crusty skier tracks.

Helicopter hidden behind one big Auguille - just the tail is visible.

Hut - Ref. d'Envers

I keep trying to zoom in on the construction booms on the right side but after releasing the mouse, the view pans to the left again. Tried both Safari and Chrome.

Panning to the right works fine, till you get to the booms, then it no longer holds the position after mouse release, and the booms disappear.

The solution is you have to pan to the left till the booms come into the view.

Yeah there's something funky going on with the cable car, either movement or poor masking in Photoshop.

Fantastic!

Note the skis, poles, and pack left at the base of the Grand Capucin.

Couldn't spot the climbers, though.

Don’t come aknockin’ when da cable car is rockin’!
BTW, there’s sumpin fishy there cause that Helbronner Telepherique goes in groups of
three or four, just 5m apart. I guess they coulda done just one for some reason.

Vallee Blanche telepherique in normal operation...

And there's this Waldo strolling on the glacier solo, with funky short skis, near the Italian side.

There is an absolutely enormous fixed line that goes all the way up the Dent Du Geant from a snow ledge about midway up the face. Funny to see that.

BTW, if you look at the Bonatti Pillar you can see the huge area at the
top that shed its skin.
