I am totally all for legalization even though I do not smoke. I do however feel that this bill is about as dumb as slamming your dick in a car door.
make weed legal without a legal way to buy it is just going to feed a bunch of money into the ilicit market and not all those people are nice people. A much better and more sane plan is to regulate and tax a legal market. great new industry and the tax windfall could help us solve the health care problems that we have.

We now have a weed shop about every other block here in PDX. I assume there will be quite a bit of consolidation as this moves along and the banking side of it opens up.

I think all the people that have been cultivating for years should have the first crack at it,they might not be the best folks, but, the corporate entity’s will certainly show you who the bad folk are.
My bias comes from NY tying to corporatize it.

Corporations are already in full swing positioning themselves on both the back and front ends and only currently restrained by the aforementioned banking issues. They've been cutting deals with the tribes out this way for large-scale growing operations and also doing a bunch of advance trademark and branding work.

The word is ,April 1st.
A Democratic state assembly ,finally ,is going on to push it through,damn near the way Vermont did.
Going to let the market decide which way the government will take it.
You can laugh all you want,I may finalize what I am looking to do with my 3 acres of fallow ex potato farm land.
Become a legal farmer,Hemp as well.

don't get me wrong. I am super stoked that VT legalized just wish we were smart enough to regulate and tax so that maybe we could get everyone on decent health care.
