Hi All,

A lot of talk here lately about motivations for climbing. These are hard conversations. Part of what makes my time in the mountains worthwhile for me is sharing the beauty with friends and family through my art and writing. I feel really connected with the core of my being in the mountains and on adventures and I've found that many people--climbers or not--really appreciate getting a glimpse of that "aliveness," either in talking to climbers about their experiences or through our art.

Selfishly: sharing my art has been therapeutic for me in so many ways and it's given me the opportunity to see the mountains and climbing in a different light. I shared my calendar here last year and am happy to share 2018's. This year has photos and writing as well as paintings inspired by travels over the last 12 months and the Sierra Nevada.

$5 off through the end of the week if you think someone might appreciate it: Salt Earth Art 2018 Wall Calendar.

I also just created 5 Yosemite/Sierra-inspired note cards after a relative requested them: Yosemite/Sierra Note Cards.

Keep smiling and finding your inspiration.
