It happens all over. I had forgotten this, but about two years ago (Aug/2015), eight houses up the street, a guy no longer living in the home came back and opened up on the family residence. Maybe 10-12 shots.

I've never seen any of the legal aftermath.

The incident started at 4:02 p.m., when officers got a report that a man was shooting into a home in the 1500 block. Witnesses told officials that the shooter had an AR-15 type of weapon.

He returned to his condo a few blocks away and eventually surrendered to SWAT.

NO deaths or wounded, luckily.

AR-15's and similar should be illegal to own. The founding fathers are turning over in their graves.

Yeah, maybe he should have just run over them with a truck.

Sad. At a school with children. Neighbor said he was acting crazy.

Heard Michael Moore speak recently on Bill Maher about Canadian gun laws and it requires something like a signature or two from family or friends to get a gun. Makes sense to me. Just to easy for crazies to get automatic weapons. How bout 2 signatures for a semi-auto and five, including one from a doctor, to get an automatic? I'm down.

10b...go back to your hole if you don't understand the point I was making in replying to the asinine post I quoted.

Yep...as usual, it is the gun's fault and advocated by the NRA.

CA has the strictest gun control laws in the country and this still happened.

Duh.

Carry on, you folks wouldn't know common sense if it hit you in the face.

Yeah, 10b4me, Jody doesn’t usually know who he is responding to much less the veracity of what he is saying, lol!

Edit: notice not even a condolences or “RIP”, it’s just immediately protecting the poor innocent guns. Idolatry is what it is.

I didn't expect an intelligent answer from jody. He is afraid of black people, brown people, red people, yellow people, and he is afraid of people who don't speak english.
smh.

yeah... thank god he didn't use a knife.. My god.. think of the death toll if he had used a knife. 100s.. maybe 1000s. of deaths. shudder.. Thank God that guy in Vegas didn't have a knife. And a truck.. good grief, he could have killed hundreds of barriers. Think of the barriers !!!!

Or imagine this..

I work field tech in Rancho Tehama every other month. Rarely get out of my truck without hearing some sort of domestic dispute nearby. Sad little town without much going on. A friend of mine moved there and loves it.
My rough estimate is 50% living in squalid poverty.

No thoughts and prayers. This is the world we have chosen to live in. More and more carnage to follow... This is what we deserve if unable to look in the mirror collectively.

Just make a cross out of AR-15s they can fall on their knees in front of while they mumble thoughts and f*#king prayers.

Prayer has no effect on outcomes nor does it in any way mitigate what has been done.

I think advances in weapon technology are doing the same thing to gun violence between civilians that they did to modern war between great powers: making it obsolete. A Saturday night special against another opponent armed with a Saturday night special is one thing; a assault rifle against a crowd in a football stadium is on another order of magnitude. Panzer columns are no longer blasting across the Ardennes Forest leaving 10,000 American soldiers dead in the ditches along the way because when Patton and Bradley struck back, there were 10,000 Germans dead in the ditches going in the opposite direction and a quarter of the steel production in Germany was turned to junk. A civilian with a handgun is just no match for a shooter with a MG. Inefficient deterrence.

Bring on the class action lawsuits against the NRA and gun manufacturers for willfully endangering the lives of US Citizens
