Hello friends,

I came across this photo on Robert's laptop. The shot is as many of you will recognize taken at his favorite spot "The Ranch" on 8/25/2013. As it happens, the rainbow is arching over the spot where I almost a year ago scattered his ashes and set him free at the place he loved the most.

The photo is too nice to not share...

Hope to see some of you here in JT soon. Ron if you need an excuse I can always make up a strawberry job.

Oh Hilde, missing you and Roberto. Thanks for this post!

This year Tioga Pass Resort literally fell apart. My special place for 8 years as well as so many others. We hung out, climbed, hiked and had a whole TPR/Tuolumne culture of friendship. This year was the end of an era.

When Robert left us it too marked the end of an awesome era. He conjured up life and fun for so many. End of an era, yes.....but Robert will forever remain in our hearts and minds. Hugs and Love to you, Hilde!

Im also here, what a fabulous picture, a tribute.
having not met any of those or theses fine souls,
I am at once struck, and sadly proud of this saga.
The tribe's coming together, while apart.
the honest pathos that rides in the back seat of the climbers ride
I've used the way and the story to be a better person,

RLF, has struck a cord that runs around the globe
I'll not say more . . . oh only this:

blessings of peace and healing light
may RLF bless all those that seek. . ./ The . . What?
He was the stoic prince, a guide, a model . . . the answer?

A Hero.

Oh man Lynnie, that group use to flow the Schit! Those times are gone forever, the way they existed back then. Robert created a very special place for bonding to happen and friendships to flourish!

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for all the kind words and greetings. I am happy that you all seem to like Roberts photo as much as I do.

Lynne, Thank you for posting the photos from the ranch campground. How I wish I had the ability to turn back time. In the mean time (until I can figure out how) the memories will have to do, and you are right that Robert will always remain in many peoples hearts and minds. The captions you added to your photos made me laugh out loud; creating a strange feeling of happiness caused by the good memories, and a sadness that comes with sad memories and a sense of loss.

It feels good to read all the comments, hearing from friends from all over and knowing that this post brought a smile to many faces.

Thank you all,

Hilde
