Oh no...
not Abdullah! We climbed a ton together including burly FA's such as Beer Belly on the Stomach near 90ft Wall and If I had a Hammer 11b on Flagpole Peak @ Echo Lakes as well as Dirty Deeds 10c on Echo Ridge.Charleen was a top female climber on the south shore and one of the few chicks that participated in the new route game. Great gal....I'm gonna miss her...

Yep....that's the one. We had it made back then - unclimbed rock everywhere and Charleen and Billy were my partners in crime on so many adventures. And yes we partied HARD ***

Wow, what sad news. I knew Charlene forever. She was a strong climber, female or not. Charlene and Billy were both good friends; now they are both gone.

It is a sad thing indeed . Charleen was a force to be reckoned with. She was an amazing woman who could do just about anything she put her mind to and never gave herself enough credit. She had her demons though like we all do and could be very dark and down , but when she was up, she was such a blast to be around and we had so many adventures, I will never forget.. We definitely had our ups and downs but I always loved her deeply..... She will be sorely missed... Ride on forever Charleen... I love ya dear girl....

Charleen was like a daughter to my Grandma Maxine, a sister to my mom DonnaLee, and like an Aunt to me (Darlene Stillman). I would love to hear some stories about her.
