Hello everybody!
My name is Martin and I’m studying photojournalism in Hanover, Germany. Ever since I started climbing more than 15 years ago, I have been dreaming of visiting Yosemite someday in person. That’s why I want my graduation work to be about that magical place and the fascination with it. By including all different kinds of people like climbers, high-liners, base jumpers as well as rangers, tourists and YOSAR, I hope to create an intimate portrait of life around Yosemite.
I’m reaching out to you hoping that you might be able to support my research and planning. Since I’ve never been to the valley I’m very interested in the logistics, contacts and of course your experiences and your opinion on the matter.
I would greatly appreciate any sort of advice concerning this project!

Best bet might be to hang around Camp 4 ... see the same old 'has beens' and 'never-will-bes'
