Would anyone know if a Valley Giant 9 or 12 would protect the crux pitches in the Lost Arrow Chimney?

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if a VG might cover the wider sections on the two long p8 and p9 where it sounds like stronger climbers just gun it through?

Or would VGs just be dead weight? At least one post on MTN Project suggest that the start of p8 goes a long way before the bolts.

It is all depends of your personal preferences. Some climbers do better [like me] when they have a lot of gear and heavy rack compensated by mental calmness + you have weight training. Nothing wrong to take #9, you will definitely will be able to use it, but as I remember it was not critical to have it

Following up - would a VG 12 help/be usable? Planning on doing the route over Memorial Day.
