I just saw the Seattle stop on the Experience Hendrix Tour 2017 last night.
If you dig Jimi's music and enjoy virtuoso guitar playing then don't miss this tour. Dweezil Zappa, Billy Cox, Kenny Wayne Shepard and Buddy Guy played in the star-studded show last night!

Buddy was on stage for three songs only but it was fun to see him. The personnel changes on these shows based on availability. Zakk Wylde was just that, Wild!

Would love to see Dweezil play his axe, I understand he is quite good (his father sure was).

Saw the real thing in 1969. Anything less might be disappointing.

I have seen Dweezil every time he comes to town. He puts on a great show and does Frank's music proud. The Dweez just keeps playing better and better and his band is tight and talented. Make the effort to see them, you won't be disappointed.

I'm die-hard Hendrix fan and I was skeptical when I caught the tour a couple of years ago. Then I was so psyched as the music began. There was an unknown (to me) guitarist who did Are You Experienced, and I had tears running down my face. The massive downbeat in that song was tight and explosive, and backwards guitar solo was oh so creamy...
Oh man, they really honor Jimi in the right way. The whole thing was Fantastico!

Billy wouldn't have it any other way. Neither would Dwezil.
Jimi is long gone and I remember that sad day all too well. But his message lives on. If you ever put in a big, physical day in the hills, at work or whatever and wake up feeling the pain, just put on Hey Baby and feel the healing love wash that pain away.
