I thought of you when I was eating them.

We were sitting in the same spot at the bar that we occupied on your last visit, and when the abalone stomachs were presented I was reminded of the way you and I looked at each other when a plate of sea snails arrived...

I suggested to Hajime that he find some other tiny little weird bits to stuff into the abalone stomachs, and offer it as "Japanese Miniature Haggis"

Dear Pops,

I didn't say I ate them. Ghost did.

You lovable Son,
Son

So for one of my check out dives in 1995 for open water 1 the conditions were really bad outside so the instructor had us stay way inside and abalone dive. I got one. That's hard stuff.

Not sure how they counted it a scuba dive since it was a free dive.

Randisi - Geoduck is a favorite at SushiFest. Especially with the ladies. Not sure why....

Son...
Fewwwwwwwwww...
GUD!!!...

Yeah, but if he'd been there with us, he'd have chowed down on those things and asked for more. (Probably something to do with his upbringing. As I've said before... "It's all Locker's fault."

Basically an abalone's tummy is gonna be filled with nothing but wee small beasties - a sort
of uni-celled-bouillbaisse, n'est ce pas?
