It was a brilliant narrowly targeted business model. Best perpitrated against a select buying public.
Now it seems for only the 3rd gen, 2015, and newer, cars there is a two year plan:

That's the tough call. As buggy's go, the thing I HAD, was very economical.
Was it filled with contradictions ? Yes,
most concerning was the safety on highways near speeding big rigs especially, you could feel the car pulled into the draft.
I was able to find a funky set up used @23k miles, No Heavy .'supersized' sun roof,
it had a stupid cosmetic lower front piece that gave it a lowers look, this filled with ice and snow. . .
Inside , pleather, so you were required to throw up the sun shield.manual original glider style seat adjustment , useing a 'uge grab loop that also grabbed pants cuffs, you could strain a knee . . . Ssrsly!

I'm suffering the stages of grief over this car! It was filled with toys! GPS, talking Nav! MP3, CD/video, no camera though.

I'll get what most makes sense depending on what I can find, VW? Not off the table.
