Hey Werner or anybody with any intel.....

A young (twenty-something) acquaintance of mine told me this morning that his good friend slipped and fell to his death this week in the Valley. And that his body has not yet been found. Possibly in the 4 Mile Trail area. They are making preparations for a funeral but have yet to find Kevin's body as far as he knows. Very nice and experienced hiker and a great young man.

Any intel or info would be much appreciated and a comfort to all involved.

Thank you,

Scott

I'm not sure if they want me to divulge any information on this incident here so I'm not going to.

It's a sensitive subject so if you need more information then you'll just have to go thru the park's information people.

Sorry about your friends and sorry I can't really help you here thru this forum about this subject ......

Thank you Werner I totally understand. I really appreciate the work you guys do and always appreciate your insight when you are allowed to share information. Just thought I would ask.
Hoping for a recovery soon for his family. Also hoping for continued safety for all rescue/recovery members involved.
