What mountain is it which these stout fellows are trying to climb?
Hint 1: It is covered with snow and ice, and in the northern hemisphere.
Hint 2: Not Lembert Dome.
Hint 3: Unclimbed. (Vitaliy?)
(Please, no technical trickery to ferret out where I 'borrowed' the photo, and no ringers. You know who you are. I will properly credit the photo later.)
(Latest in a very intermittent series.)

A close resemblance to Bogus Mountain, on P.116 of the Fairley guide. However that has been climbed by at least 6 routes.
Surprising that this peak has not been done. It looks like a walk-up. Perhaps that's why?

of course it's in Canada....
but isn't it confusing to have multiple peaks named the same?
I could have sworn that I climbed a peak with the same name off the Ice Fields Hwy.

Neither Khan Tengri nor in Norway. However, there is a connection between the following photo and the peak.
Hint 4: The mountain has been attempted three times.

^^^you can see why all the Canadian topsoil sloughed off down slope into the US midwest...
it has got to be the hardest place for a climber to drive through... absolutely flat... but a good place to listen to Joni Mitchell on the iPod...

Here is a closer view of the spire, which is also unclimbed. My grandfather and greatuncle, and an assortment of relatives - including several named Erik Eriksson, but not E - helped to build it. It was finished in 1919.
Hint 5: Not in Kansas, despite what Ed says.

sorry Tami... if i'm right, it'll be a little like when someone on jeopardy gives the correct answer but forgets to ask in the form of a question and then the next contestant pipes up with a "what is the war of 1812? mr. trebek..." and to think all you had to do to reap the glory that was yours for the taking was to add "mt." to your answer... :)
that is unless it really is mt. kansas...
