sh#t-tube construction is a part of the Yosemite big-wall culture...

as far as I know, there are no purveyors of sh#t-tubes in the Valley...

you'll have to borrow one, or construct one... construction might be a problem as the parts are not for general sale in the Valley either (as far as I know, but then there are many resourceful people in the Valley...)

Go find that woot Sloan guy. He is one big Sh#t-Tube. Although he is currently full, so you'll have to empty him out before you bring him up the bigwall.

Is Sports Authority still open in Yosemite? I'd heard they'd taken a dump, butt just in case.

Their tube socks are highly absorbent.

Barring that, look in a trash can.

Try the new titanium "Alpensewer" model from Patagronia. Ergonomic, contoured and padded to fit comfortably, equipped with 3-ply toilet paper holder and a hand disinfectant dispenser. Also has a 3-position strap to hold it in place, leaving your hands free to use your iPhone, tablet, eat lunch or read Anna Karenina while waiting for movement. A check valve prevents accidental fecal regurgitation. The Turbo model has a built-in flashlight and a mirror to check cleanliness, and a head harness so that it may be used as a headlamp in emergency. Comes with an advanced rapid-acting composting compound which allows you to recycle the contents right into your house plants when you get home. They’ll love it.

A special composting formula is also available, required for gluten-free excrement.

Get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. Then you can squat on it instead of over a bag.

A new model of the Patagroania poop tube (described above) is now available. The company has become aware of the unaesthetic consequences of over-filling, so they have built in a digitized audio warning. The recorded voice of Sarah Palin tells you exactly when to cut off any excretory process.

You'll have to check with YOSAR, but maybe if you spiff 'em enough, they'll give you a helio-haul.
