Hello,

I'll come to Yosemity in june from approx. the 5th to the 24th of june.
I'm looking for climb partners for both free and aid climbs.

I'm a man, 40 y old, French, used to climb in Chamonix and South ou France, alpinist (Mountain Guide) for years, having travelled around the world for climbing.

I came 4 times before. I mostly climb free classic climbs and moderate aid climbs.

I am actually looking for a partner around those times. Are you interested in something hard-ish on El Cap?

I have climbed almost all of the moderates, and I am trying to climb different routes without repeating anything.

Anyone else interested?

Possible routes:

Space
Disorderly Conduct
Gulf Stream [might need some repair]
Mirage
Heart [probably will need new anchor bolts in places]
Adrift [need a free climbing rope gun]

Cheers, eh?

P.S. Arriving around May 21 with Anita, intending to do New Dawn assuming the reported falcon closures are lifted like they have been the last two springs.

Anyone interested in joining us to make up a team of three?

Ideal prospective partner:

has wheels to pick us up at SFO and take us to Yosemite via my storage locker in Mariposa to pick up my wall gear
 has substantial big wall experience
is willing to actually lead half the pitches
has a double ledge that Anita and I can use, and he/she can use one of my single ledges
in lieu of above, has frequent flyer points and grocery and beer money ;)

Maybe Anita was being genuine when she asked if I was climbing in the valley in May? I thought it was pure snark for me talking about what is going on in the Valley from Arizona on the guidebook thread.

Unfortunately May June and July are pretty busy months for me butI would love to go big wall camping with Dr pitons. I sold my double Sky Lounge to Dave Koz

Hey Pete, loooks really interesting !
I quickly check the cotation of routes you mention in your. Looks OK for me to lead half of the pitches.
We can manage a Skype call if you want.

Hello Pete !

I'll land in SF int Airport the 4th.
I've booked a car to drive to Yosemite the 4th evening.

I'll stay in Yosemite up to the 24th early morning as I have to drive to San Diego after.

I can get a double portaledge from a Friend. My own is a single one.

Experience and leading half the pitches would be OK !

For beers ... hmm ... a ritual after a big climbing day or journey in a wall.

and no prob for a team of 3. That's would be fun :)

Let me know.

Twenty days may not be enough time to complete an El Cap route with Pete.
