I'm contemplating Lurking Fear for the weekend with this awesome weather but was wondering if anyone here has an idea of conditions of the slabs. Wondering about snowy slab climbing or wet conditions after the warm weather. Any information on the route conditions would be appreciated.

Basically after the Ned's Mantle pitch the route is a drain for the top 1000 ft. That last dihedral before Thanksgiving does not get much sun and if there is snow above it on the slabs, you can bet these pitches will be wet....but they are aidable. If there is snow after the top out I would imagine those slabs scary.

We've had sun for over a week now or so with a high of around 72. I wouldn't be too worried about snow or ice. I've done LF, granted 5 years ago in June, but any ice on the 2nd to last pitch would be negligible, IMO.
Good luck and have fun!
