It came to my attention that Russ Walling at Fish Products had some old drill holder grips in storage. He was kind enough to send me some and I made 5 drill holders. They are 3/4" 1020 hex steel with a hardened steel dowel pin for a striking surface all pressed into the Fish grip. The fish grip looks like neoprene (Pretty much tire rubber) and is BEEFY and is not a trivial task to press on. There is some kind of dried form release gunk on the rubber that you may want to clean off. I sent 2 of the 5 to Russ which leaves 3 on hand.

Get one!

I managed to split the rubber on the first one while pressing the grip on which won't affect its function or life expectancy. If the split bugs you, you can fill it with RTV or something. GONE

If you send me the money, I will buy Russ a beer or if you want, you can buy him a beer by clicking the button at the bottom of the Fish homepage:
http://www.fishproducts.com

You can have one of the other two for
$18 + $6.80 + $6 = $30.80

But wait, there's more! I will include 4 set screws and two Allen wrenches. I will not include the blue thread locker required to keep the set screws from jiggling loose but I will lock two of the screws in place which should last for a dozen or so drill changes.

If you are outside the USA, you will have to pay whatever the postage is.

The cheap one with the split is gone but I still have the other two.

Forgot to mention that these are for SDS Plus drill bits.

nice work!

on the SDS bit side of things I have some 1/4" (5) and 5/16" (3). Deucy re-sharpened the 1/4"ers. the 5/16" are brand new.
