I'm relieved to finally learn the safe way to lead - with a gopro on my head and my girlfriend in tow on a lone bolt.

A new motto: God is my belayer!
Wynn and I were camping next to you guys in J Tree 2 weeks ago. I would have never suspected you had religious tendencies.
There was a good bumper sticker on a vehicle in a popular dog walking area near my home: Dog is my Copilot.

A new motto: God is my belayer!

I think that means you're still solo

Soloing the tombstone 5.13+? I don't think so. That's the same guy from those rope jump videos.

Did Keanu Reeves really shred waves in Point Break?

IMO if you have climbed seriously for any length of time you can easily see that the audaciousness ascribed to free soloing pales compared to the presumptuous assumption that trusting our survival to our own experience and abilities is somehow reckless and irresponsible compared to placing our 'faith' in something we cannot see in the hope that we will be assured a place in an eternal hierarchy of the holy in a mythical hereafter.

Nicely said Bushman!

I'll add this passage I posted on another thread because it links life and climbing so well.

Not to say religious beliefs don't work for some...

I wonder if the climber that was free soloing in the video had to sign an Non-disclosure agreement that prohibits him from saying that he free solos in real life, or that free soloing isn't really an issue on rock.
